Teaching experience:

• Volunteer instructor of Belarusian language (Mova nanova project 2014/15). Classes held at the University of Granada.
• Teaching assistant and substitute lecturer (Department of Belarusian Studies, Faculty of Modern Languages, University of Warsaw, 2018): Courses included Belarusian literature history, Belarusian language, Russian language, Russian literature, literary theory, and literary criticism.
• Polish as a Foreign Language Instructor (University of Granada 2020/21): A2, B1 levels.
• Non-profit online courses on Belarusian language and culture for Slavic students worldwide (collaboration with PhD candidate David Kurkovski, Slavic Languages and Literatures Department, University of California, Berkeley, 2020/21).
• Assistant Professor (Department of Belarusian Studies, Faculty of Modern Languages, University of Warsaw, 2021-2024): Courses taught at the undergraduate and master’s levels included Introduction to Literary Theory, Literary Analysis Workshops, Belarusian Language and Literature (including original courses on Contemporary Poetry), Poetry as a Form of Political and Social Protest in 20th and 21st Century Europe, Spanish language (A1), Introduction to Rhetoric, and History of Belarusian Literature. Lectures were conducted in Belarusian, Polish, English, and Spanish.

Organisational experience:

• Organized a panel discussion titled “The Border Between Poetry and Propaganda” during the BFTFI Fellowship Meeting, American University in Bulgaria, Blagoevgrad, 2009.
• Organized student and doctoral conferences during master’s studies at the Department of Belarusian Studies, University of Warsaw (2015-2017), and the Second Edition of Belarusian Culture Days in collaboration with the Belarusian Embassy in Poland (2016).
• Member of the organizational committee for the Belarusian Language Olympiad (Department of Belarusian Studies, University of Warsaw).
• Organized a panel discussion titled “Literature as a Form of Protest in Belarus” during the “Literature and Linguistics” section of the 9th International Congress of Belarusian Studies at Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas, 2021.
• Organized a panel discussion titled “Images and Symbols Across the Ages: The Works of Belarusian Authors” at the 11th International Congress of Belarusian Studies at the University of Gdańsk, 2023.

 

Membership in professional organizations:

• Belarusian PEN (since 2023): current member of the organization’s Audit Committee. From 2024 — Representative of Belarusian PEN to the Women Writers Committee under PEN International.

• Extensive experience as a volunteer (oral and written translation, event organization, coordination of activities, etc.) in support of human rights in Belarus and Ukraine, including at the Viasna Human Rights Center.
